Variable products that are on sale are not displayed the same as my affiliate products that are on sale.

Can you tell me what php file creates the variable products in the shop page? I need to make changes to the way the products are displayed.

No. Variable products have multiple prices, discount tag is only for single

The only variation for the variable products is the size. The price of all the variations is the same regardless of what size the customer chooses. Is it possible to show the discount percentage?

Variable products has no sale and regular price, all prices are variable,
so, there is no sale date, because it's not possible to calculate discount
amount for variable price

On my website, I have external/affiliate products and variable products. All the products are on sale but the variable products are not displayed with the old price or the discount percentage when the products are viewed on the shop page. What code file do I need to change to make the variable products look like the external/affiliate products? Please see the attached image. The product on the right is a variable product, the product on the left is an affiliate product.
