this is correct. AMP is made for articles and not for products, amp can't
have any dynamic functionality so it's mostly useless for products

Hi 

I am using 'amp' plugin for amp page creation.I need to replicate most of the non-amp functionality to amp pages.

But when i have set template mode as ‘reader’, it shows only image and description. and when i have set template mode as ‘transitional’, it shows the full functionality in amp page but  page doesn’t seems to be fully amp as it shows non-amp tags.

Kindly suggest which plugin to use to display the custom fields and widgets in amp pages or how to customize the existing amp pages
