yes, you havem because there is no such table in woocommerce

so you have overwritten file for archives.

You can disable left sidebar option in theme options - shop settings or check your customization and add button in it

We are not using a customized page, we are using the woo shop page/themes page. 

The only customization we did is hoe the products /attributes are displayed

you don't use regular shop page or theme's page, you are using customized
page. so, you need to make change customization accordingly to new file
woocommerce/archive-product.php

In that case it not working.. see the link i provided in the last msg on your mobile.. the sidebar shows on top

on mobile.. for all woo commerce shop pages the sidebar didn't display until we clicked the filter button but now the sidebar is shown on top

i think there was an option in Theme option to enable this but i can't find it anymore
