it's not problem of shortcode. it's problem of autoformatting. You can remove empty paragraphs via code

p:empty {

    display: none;

}

you can place this in theme options - general options - custom css

2 things:

1) Saw that there have been some changes regarding the 'Section with sidebar' product layout. However, these changes have had a lot of impact on my product description. The description now shows much more spaces on places I don't want them and it seems like it is caused by the headers. You can view the screenshots enclosed and hopefully you can locate and fix the issue. If I put all the lines after eachother the spacing is still there. Even if I delete the sample text.

2) Saw that the header issue is not fixed yet. In 'Section with sidebar' layout h3 is still the same size as h2. Do you have any idea when this will be fixed?
