Seeing that 403 error on product pages and the support agent suggesting to just disable the view count function, I totally feel the user's frustration - it's like playing royal match and getting stuck on a level where the only tip is to avoid using a key feature. 

Your issue is not related to theme. It’s not working on your site because
your hosting doesn’t allow to execute direct scripts in files. As you
understand that I can’t suggest you to shut down your hosting, and in fact
that post view script is not critical for theme, I recommended you to shut
down it. You can also write to your hoster, but accordingly to my
experience they will not change settings of server just for you

Disabling post view counts is not a solution to this issue. You offer a functionality to show how many views a certain post has and when it is causing issues you simply say that I have to turn it off to fix the issue? 

Also, you haven't said anything about the other URL with 403 status

"theme options - global enable/disable" is place where you can find option

I didn't write to enable it. You must disable it and keep disabled

This does not fix the issue. I have disabled and re-enabled this setting, purged cache but no luck.

When disabling tis setting one of the two 403 errors disappears but yeah that's not really a solution.

while loading product pages I'm getting a 403 status for the following URLs:
