You can try it. But better to use .off and removeEventlistener

you can't update this file from child theme, you need to build own scripts
which overwrite script of theme, this is advanced topic and you can find
info on google, please note that you have no actual support and we can't
provide any help in customizations

Have Edited some lines from custom.js file. now i'm trying to us it from my child them not working.

Is there any option have to hook my update code from function.php file? or if i enqueue one new js file it will works?
