Last theme version has option to show compare buttons only for special categories (theme option - dynamic comparison) 

Highlight is not possible currently, but I will add to TODO list

1- I would like to ask, whether is it possible to hide the compare button on the woocommerce product grid which is displayed in the product category. http://prntscr.com/laro54. because if i start creating comparison pages for all category then the comparison popup on right side becomes Full.

2- I have created many comparison pages according to the category, but currently i have removed those page. and i am tracking these pages through lucky orange. so i found that most customers don't see the numbers and directly click on compare button. see screenshot: http://prntscr.com/larsow

So either tell me if i can highlight this comparison number same like this Screenshot: http://prntscr.com/larwm3 on comparison popup page.

or show only the comparison pages which user has selected for comparison. i mean: http://prntscr.com/laryn6 and hide rest pages.

and diable/hide  compare icon on specific category.
