Don't worry, I've figured it out. I was creating custom attributes rather than regular attributes

I can not now get the shortcode to work...

[products columns="4" category="cbd-oils" attribute="brand" terms="Cibdol"]

Please advise :/

Okay, thank you. I don't want to have to create each post in Elementor as you can imagine.

Correct. This is what all people do. In future, we will add Gutenberg
woocommerce blocks with filters, but in current point Gutenberg has no good
query component, we are waiting for it, then, we can convert all our
Elementor modules to Gutenberg

Okay, thanks for the help. I guess I can always provide a brand attribute and filter them that way?

this is documentation of third party brand plugin, if you use it on site,
it will work

they are working. but you don't use them, there is no brand parameter in woocommerce shortcodes. Also, you placed them as text instead of placing them as shortcode block

So you're saying I have to use Elementor for every single blog review page to incorporate products within the review? That can't be right... What's the point of having the review post template? There are shortcodes included on Woocommerce to display multiple products, right? Why aren't they working?

I don’t know where you found these shortcodes, but they are not correct. There is no shortcode for this, but you can use Elementor page builder and woocommerce modules

https://rehubdocs.wpsoul.com/docs/rehub-theme/page-builder/page-builder/

also Gutenberg woobox module which has select option to choose defined products. Some more Gutenberg blocks for woocommerce will be added in future updates

I can't work out how I can display products via shortcode using categories or brands.
